Get Twitter Followers

So I have about 35 followers and I always tweet stuff like "what is everyone up to today?" and even send some direct messages but no one ever answers me, even if the message is asking something direct. Is this because they’re spam and only respond if my tweet mentions something specific? How can I get rid of the spam followers? It upsets me that people are following me if all they want is to sell their crap to me. I thought the purpose of Twitter was to keep up with friends.

They may be spam bots but it depends on how active they are; if they come on Twitter once a week or so, you probably won’t be getting a reply. Or, if they’re still trying to figure it out (AKA n00bs). Well you say you have 35 followers, have you ever tried clicking the number and actually LOOKED at your followers? You can easily detect a spam bot from an actual person; if you would like to get rid of them, click on their profile, look on the left side of their profile and click on "block username", this prevents them from having contact with you.

Lately however, Twitter has increased it’s security; most of the spam bot’s accounts will be deleted within a week. The only downfall is that they keep coming back! All I can say is, just keep blocking them.

If you would like someone to talk to, @reply to me anytime; I answer all tweets and I like to try and actually converse with people.

I started using twitter and now i cant see the people following me. on my main page it says i have three followers but when i click on my followers nothing comes up. is there a way to block the followers from my page?

All I can say is it’s a known problem, I can’t see any of my followers - I don’t even know who they are.

Several months ago I got a twitter account, then added my phone as a device so I could tweet and receive updates from friends via my cellphone. I’m a verizon wireless user with an unlimited text plan, and I’ve had absolutely no problems with tweeting via text and receiving friends’ updates via text….until now. Suddenly I’m receiving little or no updates from friends at all and I’m unable to send tweets via text because my phone says the text messages to twitter were sent successfully but the tweets never show up on my twitter page. I’ve tried deleting my device and starting over several times. And each time I’ve sent the verification code multiple times but I haven’t received any confirmation that everything is back in working order! I’ve done research and tried everything to get it working again but still nothing, After months of being able to tweet and receive updates from friends on twitter via my cellphone without any problems whatsoever I suddenly find myself unable to do any of that anymore. I’m sure I’m not the first to have this problem but is there any solution?!

Don’t worry, it’s not just your phone. No one has been able to update from their phone for a few days. I can’t either. Twitter has a glitch in it right now & should be working soon. They’re trying to fix it. Someone hacked Twitter.

I heard that it is very difficult to earn money on twitter. How are many people making so much money on Twitter? I want to know how people are using Twitter to become rich. I am totally confused.

Don’t hear what other people said in their answers. Those who are saying you can’t earn on twitter have never earned money and are losers. Don’t listen to them. Twitter is the most powerful site and many people are making money on Twitter, its a fact, you can’t ignore it.

It’s not workking!!! I put in the right username and password but it says •Twitter refused your username or password. Please check your Twitter details and try again. BUT ITS RIGHT!!! Why isn’t it working??

apparently it’s been doing this to everyone lately.

i e-mailed tumblr and they said that it’s all on twitter’s side, so they’re not the ones with the problem. the twitter people haven’t responded to me yet. so i don’t exactly know why that service is down.
